Getting Brand Deals as a Microinfluencer
Yup, been there. I used to blog about vintage fashion and had trouble getting noticed too. Turns out brands often use tools to scan follower counts first, before checking engagement. I did try to gain instagram followers fast cheap just to cross that 5k mark — and weirdly, that’s when some brands started emailing me. Obviously, they care about more than numbers, but numbers help open the door.

Interesting convo! I manage a small vintage store and I actually look at aesthetics and how the creator aligns with my values more than their exact follower count. But I guess having more followers does help with first impressions.
